There have been a number of times I've had an idea outlined, only to see something very similar end up appearing onscreen or on the book stands. I've got several folders of ideas, fragments and outlines, and while a number of these have seen print as short stories and novellas, each time I pick one to develop into a completed project, I always wonder if I picked the right one. Basically, I go with whatever idea I'm excited about doing at the time, because I figure the enthusiasm means I'll give it my best shot. But then I go to the movies and see something that looks like it was cranked out of a sausage grinder, only to find myself wondering "Did a studio really pay money for THAT?"

"Hannah Hump"...that just has to find its way into an AUSTIN POWERS film!
