One of the reasons I'm grateful for the efforts of Wade Williams -- without him, movies like (say) BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS (and dozens of others) would be available only from the p.d. places. Because he went after the rights, rightly or wrongly, he was able to get a-hold of the negatives (which probably would have rotted otherwise) and we've got beautiful copies of movies that otherwise we'd be buying out of the dollar DVD bin and seeing a splicy 16mm dupe of a dupe. Too bad he didn't latch onto GIANT LEECHES and 50 others I could name, so that we'd all have better copies.
