Actually, you know, I always thought the Red Baron sequence dragged down It's the Great Pumpkin. I've felt this way since its original showing in 1966. To me, the action should be around Linus, the pumpkin patch, and Halloween--not Snoopy's imaginary battles during World War I. At the time this show was produced, Snoopy was "very big" as a cultural icon, so it's no big mystery why they included a Red Baron sequence...but I still think it stops the show dead in its tracks.

Plus, there's an annoying piece of animation (where Snoopy's on top of his "Sopwith Camel" and firing a machine gun) that's repeated! Very sloppy!
