I'm a hoarder too, although in the late 80s I got rid of probably 2,000 great, vinatge scifi paperbacks -- Asimov, Heinlein, Pyramid anthologies, the Star series of stories, Geoff Conklin, Simak, Sturgeon, lots of Pohl and Kornbluth, dear Fredric Brown, Ace double-novels, including Van Vogt's World of Null A, just hundreds and hundreds of scifi novels and short story collections.

I got about $300 for them in credit from my comic book store even though they probably even then were bringing a few bucks each and today, who knows. They were very tattered and worn, though.

Anyhow, I still miss them and sometimes I'll see a copy of The Caves of Steel or Matheson's Third Stone from the Sun and sigh...
