i don't want to get off the subject here that Richard is fighting one of the worst illnesses that can befall a human being on this earth, but i must say it astounds me that anyone could have a problem with someone saying a little prayer on a message board for the hopes that someone can beat the cancer they're fighting.

it is equally true that saying a prayer to God has NOTHING to do with religion, and everything to do with hope and renewal.

religion is founded my man to seperate himself from others in an attempt to feel superior and more right than others.

prayer is a heartfelt moment of hope that one enduring pain and suffering won't have to endure it much longer.

that said, i agree that a message board is not the place to go around spreading a religion, or more accurately, an agenda. i also don't feel that is the case at all with david n's remarks, and i share in his prayer for Richard, as many do.
