I believe he has stated he will finish #55, publish a #56 and then end Scarlet Street there, with the hope of additional specials in the future.
Earlier in another thread, Doctor Scarabus posted this, which we'll repost here:
SCARLET STREET's "reditor" Richard Valley has been diagnosed with what may turn out to be a serious illness. The "World of Fandom" thread at the SS website has the latest information on his condition. Anyone wanting to drop RV a get well card can do so by writing to him at PO Box 604, Glen Rock, NJ, 07452 or by emailing his partner/SS collaborator Tom Amorosi. I'm sure all of us here wish him well at this difficult juncture in his life. -- Doctor Scarabus.
As with any cancer, the extent and seriousness is still being evaluated but this is obviously an extremely rough time. I wish him the very best of luck. The latest information will be available, as Doc notes above, at the Scarlet Street site where there will be additional updates. Richard Valley can be contacted at
reditor@aol.com
