the current Warner marketing strategy seems to allow for a one-year gap between similar releases (except for the annual Film Noir sets). For instance, we got a Bogie set last year, but not one this year.

Well, we expect a batch of horror movies every year because Halloween happens every year. We don't expect Bogart films every year because there is no National Bogart Day (although there should be). So it's easy to understand why fans were expecting more from Warners.

On the subject of Bogart, I'm not sure we'll get another box set, simply because all the good titles in which he had a starring role have been released already. Some of the remaining titles could come out in other promotions--BATTLE CIRCUS might come out in a war movie promotion, for example, or THE TWO MRS. CARROLS could come out in a Stanwyk set. The early stuff will probably come out in future "Warner Tough Guy" sets.
