Even before the advent of DVD, someone cleverly phrased this same question, "How many times do I have to buy GOLDFINGER?" Like a lot of films that people want to own for themselves, it was released on videotape, both Beta and VHS, panned-and-scanned, then letterboxed. Then on laserdisc pan-and-scan, then letterboxed--and then come the special editions....
