Nothing new, here. That's been a standard trapping of the genre for years.

I think outside of the box ;-)

Truly though, as I said this is a small point, but I will say the audience I saw this with was probably close to 50/50 male/female. Slasher films are date films, and women have groaned about this (passively) for years. The funny thing is that I don't know any women who are squeamish about female nudity, or turned of by a sex scene that features it. The most I ever hear is a little jealousy that the women in films represent sexual ideals they can't match.

Again, you guys are acting like I've said I want the female nudity scaled back, no, I'm saying throw me a bone where applicable, I the case I mentioned it did even make sense.

Also, yes Rob Zombie thought about it, maybe not long, but no detail such as this goes unconsidered. I was a little disheartened because like a good Russ Meyer film, I think Zombies work is "smarter" than it's origins, and I figured he'd be pretty hang-up free. He's got no problem with the wife strutting her stuff for other guys. "Nothing new here" is right, when the reason I like Zombie's better films is because they are a fresh perspective.
