My passions are firmly with the classics...silents to the 50s mainly...though I'm interested to one degree or another in every era. Just as with things Batman. Nothing would please me more than to devote myself to THE BLACK CAT and ISLAND OF LOST SOULS...but as it happens the next review I'm due to write is FRANKENSTEIN'S CASTLE OF FREAKS, and only tonight I found myself casting a bemused eye upon FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3.

Interesting, I gotta admit F-13 #1 is the only one I much bother with, though I did see the F-13 #3 in 3-D, it helped. I'm not a big slasher fan but thought the Psycho sequels, TCM 2#, The Burning, and a couple of he Halloweens were solid. The 80's are a comparatively slim section in my collection. Most are 60's-early 70's. I think this is due more to the massive number of horror films produced at the time, and I find Euro-horror compelling.

I find myself more partial to silent and 30's horror, than 40's (excluding Lewton) and 50's stuff (excluding early Hammer and anomalies like Eyes Without A Face and Night of The Demon.
