It was okay. I don't recall specifically my feelings about the first one and don't recall seeing the second, but feel this one is slightly less manic per square second and the music is less a force--which is okay.

I liked seeing Lynne Marie Stewart (she was the only reason I watched any Husbands Wives and Lovers) and the gall who played "Simone" in the first Pee-Wee film. I thought I saw Bob from Enzyte but I think I'm wrong.

I genuinely liked the balloon bit, on paper it sounds iffy but on screen it worked.

Another CHFB member (not on this thread so far) has questioned an aspect that he felt was contrary to the established Pee-Wee character and if he should read this I say that it genuinely was not an overt thing and didn't cross that line--a viewer would have to bring that to the party and thus wrestle with their own thoughts. Which is a good thing (the wrestling) and if that was deliberate on the part of the movie then good on them.
