About three years ago, and just slightly up this page, I posted this TV Guide memory:

Sometimes "melodrama" was better than more specific designations.
I remember staying up late one Saturday night because TV Guide
promised me that "Science-Fiction" epic FLAME OF THE ISLANDS.

Well, miracle of miracles...I own exactly 4 ancient issues of TV Guide from the early '60s, and
while flipping through them the other night, I found that one of them actually contained the
frustrating mistake I mentioned above.  It's from September of 1961.

And this is in the same issue. It's the first episode of the second season of THRILLER. Evidently
Boris Karloff was unavailable to host that night, so NBC tried a fast one, substituting "Boris Karlok"
in his place.

Also fun to see that this THRILLER installment featured Tom Helmore in a leading role. Helmore and
Karloff, of course, shared a wife. Well, not exactly "shared" I guess, but you know what I mean.

Please enjoy perusing those fun pages for other memories. I certainly did.
