This would be a very interesting endeavor and would further illustrate the many changes in the industry that have allowed Bond's rise to preeminence.  The states rights system of distribution which was prevalent at the time doesn't lend itself to accurate ticket counts or box office dollars.  This system was a step up from the days when movies were sold to exhibitors by the foot and filmmakers/studios didn't share in the box office.  The only reason we can calculate the take for THE BIRTH OF A NATION is because Roy Aitken stated the contractual states rights agreement for that film and what was remitted.  We aren't so lucky with other movies of the time period.
