If you're assuming that Chase is somehow giving away the meaning of the "cut to black" ending, or at least knocking away one theory (that he got whacked), I think you'd be misreading the quote (I've already seen others do that). Chase isn't saying "you know that Tony doesn't get killed" re the series finale, he's saying that if you do a prequel or flashback to 2006 as the movie, Tony can't die in that movie. Adding to the problem is that Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler continue to mature and look less and less like teenagers or young adults.
