I think the jury's out on that one, Kerry; we've all seen tons of stills that don't directly represent scenes in their films. (In Rhodes' book, he shows several where Seward is posed at Carfax with Van Helsing.)
(Forehead slap!) Watch my edit, Craig. Those scene are were right out of the script. I admire and respect Gary. I've worked on projects with him and consider him a good friend. but I have to strongly disagree with some of his conclusions. The book is a remarkable piece of research and information. But certain things call for deductions and interpretation where solid facts are not available. I love reading Gary's opinions and he may be right. But from taking the movie apart and putting it back together several times, and studying the script, the Spanish version and existing photos, I've formed my own opinions which don't always line up with Gary's.
