I just thought of one example of the a scene in the Browning version that differs from the script, but there is also evidence that he also filmed a version that did follow the script. In the script, just before Renfield collapses at Castle Dracula, he looks out into the courtyard and sees a cart and the three boxes of earth Dracula is taking to England. He collapses and then Dracula's wives come and descend on him without Dracula returning to the room. That's the way it plays in the Spanish version. Browning wisely had Dracula come back in to claim Renfield for his own, ending the scene as Dracula is bending over him. But there is a still of Lugosi as Dracula standing in the courtyard beside the cart and boxes, very similar to the scene in the Spanish version. The set was built for the scene and the photo shows that it most likely was filmed. The Spanish version of the set it arranged differently so it's not a case of Lugosi just walking onto the Spanish set for a publicity photo. This is the only significant thing I can think of that is in the movie but not in the script.
