Clark, I will if you will!

To be fair, Craig, this thread was created specifically to discuss the re-editing of Dracula. If you tire of reading about it, perhaps you can ignore the thread?

Kerry, Gary most emphatically acknowledges edit changes throughout post, including integrating reshot material. But he makes a very strong case that none of this was to alter Browning's vision; rather, that it's likely he was involved in/aware of such adjustments.

But Gary misses Kerry's point that Dracula's first visit to Mina's bedroom was taken from footage that was shot for a scene in the script that Gary fails to acknowledge even exists. Gary emphatically states that Dracula only pays one visit to Mina's bedroom in the script, but the script actually includes two such visits. Anyone who has a copy of the script can easily verify that fact. Gary speculates that Dracula's first visit to Mina's bedroom may have been made up on the fly as Browning was filming, or was a part of the reshots, but that simply isn't true.
