Although I love Lugosi's performance he DID resist Pierce's make-up. didn't he? Maybe I'm wrong about this and it was just an incorrect rumor. Anyway, IF it is true that Jack had planned an elaborate Nosferatu-esque version of Dracula, then it could have been a whole other, yet equally seminal film.
