I agree. And I want to go on record once again that I think Gary's book is an excellent work.

The points I am arguing are a minuscule part of Gary's book. I only think them important because I truly believe that Gary's book will be the last word on this subject, and I think it important to future film historians and students that he correct his mistake about the number of times Dracula shows up in Mina's bedroom in the shooting script and revise his misleading speculation as to how the constructed scene of Mina's dream came about.

I expect that many future historians and students will be relying on Gary's book, and many won't bother to see for themselves that the shooting script in fact records two visits to Mina's bedroom. I hope he'll take the opportunity to set the record straight in a later edition or in a future publication.
