I also first saw DRACULA in 1970 - on the Saturday night that Creature Features debuted here in Chicago.

As for the Spanish version, I like it for what it is - an interesting comparison. I don't think it is in ANY way superior to the Browning film. Its chief liability is Carlos Villarias who mugs too much, and generally gives an overly stagey performance.
