I remember watching the Palance J&H and being impressed and creeped out. Winter, 1968. I believe it was a Sunday night. This may be the definitive TV version. There was one made about ten years earlier with Michael Rennie which I havent seen, would love to. Palance was, obviously, stronger as Hyde than Jekyll. Rennie strikes me as the perfect actor to play Jekyll, not so sure about what kind of Hyde he'd make. Put Rennie's Jekyll and Palance's Hyde in the same production one might have the perfect Jekyll/Hyde formula (if one can accept two different actors playing the parts).
I prefer Palances version far more than March's.

I actually couldn't get through this one this past Halloween.
Hyde just seemed like a monkey tormenting ONE woman.
Did he even torment anyone else in this version?
