Well, it's been out for a couple of days. I'm sorta surprised no one has commented on it yet. I haven't seen it. The local "critic" gave it a 'C' grade, said it wasn't as good as director Aja's previous film, Haute Tension. He also said Wolf Creek was better. His main criticism, I suppose, was that the film just went from point A to point B with escalating levels of violence, which made the film an endurance test.

After Haute Tension, The Devil's Rejects, and Saw 2, I've became reluctant to continue viewing gore and carnage. I've avoided the Asian horror that popped up at Blockbuster -- 3 Extremes, for example -- and doubt that I'll rent Wolf Creek or Hostel when they show up. Maybe it's my age, or maybe there's just been a glut of these pictures. Dunno. But I would like to see reactions to Hills from other members of this board.
