Thanks, Rak. I knew Harris did this teleplay with Lou, every printed A&C filmography lists it and even usually shows some photo from it. During filming, Lou told Harris how impressed he always was of British actors. Harris then explained to Costello that he was not from the U.K., but from the Bronx! I can almost envision Harris verbally lambasting Lou the same way he did the Robot on Lost In Space!

This is the first time I've ever seen this too and I didn't expect to hear a laugh track on the show. I knew it was a comedy, but that doesn't necessarily warrant a laugh track. Joyce Jameson was one of the sexiest comedic actresses in the business and it shows here. Her exaggerated impression of Marilyn Monroe is a hoot to listen to.

Even though Lou was about 52 years old when he filmed this, Lurene Tuttle still seems a bit too old here to be Lou's wife in the story, contrasted with Dorothy Provine who seemed way too young to be Lou's girlfriend in THE 30 FOOT BRIDE OF CANDY ROCK a year later.

Looking at Lou here and in his appearance that same year on Wagon Train, it's jarring to see how he physically deteriorated by the time he appeared in 30 FOOT BRIDE made within only a few months of each other.
