The quicksand death is in the trailer (you can see it in the DVD), the leech/snake death is in the actual film. But I'm not sure how the alternate takes came to be.

Yes, the Full Moon DVD is what you should get. The blu-ray looks worse than the DVD and a few scenes are missing.

I contacted Warner Archive about this title they confirmed they don't have it, so who knows when this will ever get released. There was a French dub of this film on Youtube recently, and the print looked pretty good, not full scope but...

She was the aunt of a good friend of mine.  So sad how cancer has affected her family.Think my favorite performance was Burnt Offerings.  Not many are enamored with that film, but its always been a favorite of mine.
