I tried the disc in another player and it was fine. As my old player probably hasn't got that long left to live, it seems nothing to really worry about. THE MUMMY played fine, with the audio jumps being present in the source material...

I got the box set recently from amazon.uk and decided I better take a look sooner rather than later to be on the safe side, and CREATURE... freezes/stutters as others have reported. I'm not sure how returning it for a replacement is...

With the Japanese and UK releases of SCANNERS and THE BROOD out/imminent, it's a bit frustrating holding out for the Criterions...but I'm guessing the extras will make the wait worth it. I wonder if there's any chance of a box set also...
