I think that there may be some wealth of material if the monsters were approached with a different point of view. Like the story of 'Mary Reilly' did with Jeckle and Hyde. Stories focused on the unfortunate guy who takes the hapless job...

Mummy Music  (topic)
I've always been haunted by the music used in the original Mummy. Not only the theme ( Swan Lake), but the first piece of music for the introduction to present day Cairo,  the music for the flashback to ancient Egypt, plus...

Re: Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (Reboot) (reply)
I love this film. It has everything that make these movies fun to re-watch over and over. It exists to entertain rather the go for the serious melodrama of the earlier films. There's all the best elements from the original Wolfman...

Re: A brief note to members (reply)
I don't mind a new question that has been asked before pops up to the top again. I never care if there is a existing thread before. I don't have the time to go through page by page. I like to see what's on someones mind...

Re: House of D vs. House of F (reply)

Re: What Universal Classic Horror film has the best score? (reply)
The 'Bride' has always be the favorite, but when I listen to 'The Wolfman", I tend to move it to the top. It captures spirit of the 1940's horror. Maybe because this score is partly in a dozen other films since...
