Re: What 70's Film Would You Show To a 1950's Audience? (reply) I'd show them "Gargoyles (1972)". I think they'd get a kick out of it. If it's for shock value, then "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Can't go wrong with the latter. |

Re: recommend the best WEREWOLF movies in recent years (reply) I know it's not recent but this one is a must see and definitely under-appreciated as far as werewolf movies go: Scream of the Wolf (1974). If you're a fan of all things werewolf, then this is required viewing. Also, let's not forget the... |

Re: KOLCHAK EPISODES THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN (reply) Kolchak confronts the gaseous vampire entity from the original Star Trek episode, "Obsession". The one in which Capt. Kirk said it left "A sweet odor like honey" in its wake. It can go through open windows, street grates, or hover over... |

Re: SHAZAM! is coming to DVD. (reply) I loved this show as a kid and will definitely be ordering a copy for my own collection. I've been asking for this to come out on DVD for years now. Captain Marvel over Superman any day! |

The Servants of Twilight (1991) (topic) Today was Belinda Bauer day for me. I ended up watching two of her movies: "The Sins of Dorian Gray" and "The Servants of Twilight". Both were entertaining but the latter I never saw before. It's based on a Dean Koontz novel about a... |

Re: The Woman In Black (reply) I have to say the remake is better than the original but that's not saying much. For some reason, I can't get into these movies. I don't think another remake would change my mind. It must be the pacing or something. I can handle... |

Re: The Innkeepers 2011 (reply) I thought it was okay. I expected more but that could just be my state of mind when I watched it today. Slow burns are fine but only if they deliver. It's worth a rental. |

Re: Fright Night 1985 Blu Ray (reply) It burns me that they will go through the effort of obtaining a brand new 4K master, encode it to blu-ray specs and then press only 3000 copies! Now, for what the sellers on ebay want for this gem, I can buy myself a tablet. I had hoped... |

Re: Stake Land (reply) One of the best horror films of 2011. It has elements of "The Road" and "Zombieland" mixed in. I was surprised to see Kelly McGillis in this movie. I didn't think she did horror. Definitely worth a rental at least. |

Re: HOBO WTH A SHOTGUN! (reply) I really liked this film. I don't know if anyone caught it but the intro music is from "Mark of the Devil." I'll definitely get the blu-ray because Hauer did such a great job. |
