Was it ever actually shopped around to any producers? You might think Jack Dietz or someone would have expressed an interest. This inquiring mind, for one, wants to know.

I''l take this moment to plug Danforth's book again too. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually BETTER this way. I like how you can zoom in and the interactive sidebars. I really hope he follows through with part 2. If you're a stop-motion fan and don't have this you're really missing out. He goes into WAY more detail than dear old Ray ever would. Certainly up there content-wise with the MASTER OF THE MAJICKS books. SAM33

Would this utilize any of the actual puppets or armatures built by Pete? I have always been intrigued by the Las Vegas monster but it seemed way to creepy to be in the same film with the cartoony looking beetlemen.

Mar 7 13 2:22 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Sorry for the long absence but was trying to raise funding for the Las Vegas Monster. While one of the original beetlemen is owned by an individual supporting the project and it has been confirmed to be in good enough condition to animate, it is in less than the best condition. If it makes an appearance it will probably be a static pose in the cave on Mars. The original LV Monster was cannibalized for the Great God Porno in Flesh Gordon. So no chance of that happening. But we have some very talented people working on designing a new version of the main monster and the guy who made the armatures for Nightmare Before Christmas will be making our stop motion armatures. Our initial fund raising campaigned failed to raise the needed money to produce the trailer we wanted to make but we are not calling the project dead. It is only resting. We have a line of talent behind the camera supporting the project that are some of the best names in practical special effects and stop motion and in front of the screen we have the number one scream queen, Brinke Stevens, wanting to star in it.
