He was just about the only actor I know of whose burn scars actually made him look better. I can remember seeing him pop up in bad guy roles all through my childhood. I may not connect him wiht as many things as some of you do, but there's that film and Scarecrow, which is a great one. And "Werewolf," whihc most of us know through the MST3K version (I saw it again hardly a week ago).

Jun 20 12 2:05 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Lynch was a great villain, one of those really good-looking guys who just put out the vibe that they might bash you with a claw hammer at any minute. He was great in THE NINTH CONFIGURATION and pretty much everything else. But when I hear or read his name the first thing I always think of is GOD TOLD ME TO. Creepy and terrific and really weird. R.I.P.

A dozen years ago at Chiller, I got into the hotel elevator and saw Lynch was standing in the back of the crowd in the elevator--just like the scene in Bad Dreams. I thought that was eerie enough, but it happened again the next day. I did talk to him both times...and later at his table, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a hallucination. He seemed like a plasant, jovial fellow.

Jun 20 12 8:15 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	His second role was in THE SEVEN UPS. THE SWORD AND THE SORCEROR is one of my favorite films of the 80s. Distinctly remember watching him on an epsidoe of BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY.

Jun 20 12 9:31 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I remember Richard Lynch mostly from the short-lived TV series "The Phoenix" starring Judson Scott from the 1980's. He also appeared in one of Donald Glut's direct to video films THE MUMMY'S KISS. Lynch made a lot of appearances in various TV series during the late 1970's and into the 1980's. And I did enjoy his roles in SWORD AND THE SORCEROR and the TV movie VAMPIRE. RIP Richard....sadly many of the actors I watched on TV and in films have died in the past few years.
