My next film Alison in Wonderland, is currently shooting. A teaser trailer has just been released:
Watch in HD if your computer can take it and share, share, share.
The project, a sort of feature length expansion of and follow-up to my previous short Little Red Riding Hood, is pretty dear to me. I have been trying to get it made for several years now and now with my big documentary, Black Sunshine: Conversations with T.F. Mou, just about finished, the time has come to actually make the movie. The film is going to be sort of a macabre "dramedy", a grotesque modern updating of Alice in Wonderland with the Alice chararacter, Alison, as an American high school girl with a lot of social commentary and also touches of Star Wars. Some paraphernalia:

Some props I've built already:

So donate and help a real piece of low budget genre filmmaking get made! I have ambitious plans for the film and its release and Alison definitely is steeped in my roots as a monster kid. The Caterpillar scene will have a Toho vibe all over it with a Mothra-like design and Matango-like mushrooms and George Romero, Herk Harvey and Peter Jackson were all big influences on the film's planned aesthetic and filmmaking techniques. Anything helps and there are fabulous rewards and prizes for those who donate significantly from credits and IMDb pages to signed memorabilia to even a walk on role in the film and a souvenir prop.
Thanks,
-J.L. Carrozza
PS: Feel free to move this to "off topic" if you want. This is, however, a horror/fantasy based production.
