Since Cinerama-expert Dave Strohmaier is involved with these, the results should be pretty impressive. Apparently the Smilebox format will be used again. Anyone who has the HOW THE WEST WAS WON BD knows how good these films could look.

May 2 12 7:08 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Flicker Alley has released several fine DVDs and sets. I have a few, and all of those are excellent. It's a fine little company. I wouldn't be interested in those two Cinerama discs, but I can recommend the company in general.

May 6 12 7:47 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I saw "Seven Wonders on the World" in CINERAMA. It was released in April 1956. I was only 5 years old. So I suppose I saw it when it was re-released later on in CINERAMA at one of the LOWE'S theaters.

May 9 12 6:52 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I have a plasma, and my one complaint about the Smilebox format on HOW THE WEST WAS WON was that it burned the top and bottom edges temporarily into my TV. Took an hour or two for it to fade entirely. I hope they address that issue on these titles. Stuart Galbraith IV's CINEBLOGARAMA
