I must admit, I often secretly pine that someone would gather up three or four of the best 50s indie monsters and do a new mash-up. Maybe the Hideous Sun Demon and the Monster of Piedras Blancas? Is there some fan-fic out there I should know about?

May 8 12 12:22 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The very first issue of Famous Monsters I ever bought (#8, I think) had a full page photo of the encrusted astronaut that I had to quickly flip over, it was so scarey. Has anyone mentioned this was directed by Robert Day, a very good director who gets little notice for his fine genre films, including TARZAN THE MAGNIFICENT, SHE, TARZAN'S THREE CHALLENGES and several episodes of "The Avengers"?
