I still have my original print of INGAGI; the only green-tinted print that I am aware of... I have made several inquiries about the sale of this film, but nothing has panned out so far... I am still waiting for my phone call from Peter Jackson...if anyone SHOULD...and COULD buy the film... it would be him..!! OK, in honour of my birthday next week, I'm gonna give ya-all a treat... the link to my scanned frames of the print I have... PLEASE note the following: 1> scans are B&W... Aug 23 11 6:42 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	One amusing legacy of INGAGI was that its gorilla/maiden footage was later inserted into FORBIDDEN ADVENTURE IN ANGKOR, a 1937 roadshow jigsaw consisting of footage from a British film and INGAGI. Besides offering the unique opportunity to see native africans and gorillas living in Indo-China, the film became the target of angry complaints from Dwain Esper, who then owned INGAGI, and several advertisments exist of him denouncing the new film. Of course, INGAGI itself pillaged footage from a much earlier silent film.

Updating my post from four-and-a-half years ago (!), it turns out that Boston-Film had in fact already released a single print of INGAGI prior to the above date. This lone print was roadshowed from city to city during the Fall of 1931, accompanied by a personal appearance and lecture by 'German expedition member' Dr. Peter Paul Brauer. Obviously (and in true exploitation roadshow style) he was a phoney, given that the entire expedition presented in the movie was fake. In fact, Dr. Peter Paul Brauer [IMDb] was the founder/owner of Boston-Film in Berlin; one can only wonder whether he really schlepped around the country with his imported movie or whether he allowed a stooge to use his name for these 'personal appearances'...! I looked up Betty Petit on IMDB and found a few diffeent actresses by that name - none of whom date back to 1937. 1946 was about the earliest credit could find for someone with that name ( Betty Jane Petit ) if it's even Betty Petit at all - GJS
