Not a great actress, but a very beautiful lady and a pleasant presence in a whole lotta movies. 92 is a nice long ride. R.I.P.

May 2 12 6:13 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	She was previously married to Richard Greene of THE BLACK CASTLE (1952); the two of them are also in a British ghost movie together (just don't ask me the title). Greene made tons of money off of TV's ROBIN HOOD but toward the end of his life he was broke, and accepting money from Medina and husband Cotten. She included that anecdote in her autobiography ... which I don't think she shoulda. I phoned and asked her for an interview once; and got kind of an annoyed "no." I shoulda waited a while and tried again and maybe caught her in a better mood. She was also one of the stars of the 3-D PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE. R.I.P.

May 2 12 10:12 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	She has two THRILLER episodes among her credits - "The Premature Burial" and "The Devil's Ticket." Seeing as how I've yet to even open the set that I bought a year ago, this seems to be an appropriate time. Then maybe check out the UNCLE episode she made with Vincent Price. TV LAND just happens to be airing an episode of BONANZA with her this afternoon. The plot sounds a lot like THE BARON OF ARIZONA.

May 2 12 3:25 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just went through my files and found a couple of interviews with her, and pretty much every time she was asked about movies that weren't Grade-A and star-studded, she claims never to have seen it and to have no memory of it. So maybe she said no to me because she had no memory of ever having made the movies I wanted to concentrate on.

Wow, what a beautiful woman she was, and certainly a "good enough" actress to be very effective in all of the roles I've seen her play. R.I.P.

The first movies which pop into my mind are The Beast from Hollow Mountain and The Phantom of the Rue Morgue, but she was all over TV as well as a good movie career. And now that I think of it, the Wicked Queen in the Three Stooges version of Snow White. Summing up her career-never a striking star, but as someone posted about another performer on another thread "There are worse things than being an attractive person and a competent performer." I think she was of Spanish heritage, but born and raised in England. Perhaps someone will post on that. RIP. ***When I recently watched The Pit and the Pendulum, I thought of Patricia Medina and how much better (in age and looks) she would have been than Luana Anders to portray Vincent Price's sister.
