Mar 20 12 10:11 PM More My Recent Posts	Trying not to compare the film too much with ALIEN as far as the technology goes,i am just happy to see a sci-fi film that isn't trying to pile on the explosions,sell merchandise or insult my intelligence. I came of age in the era of HEAVY METAL, EPIC ILLUSTRATED and all the Warren magazines and that uncomfortable adult science fiction/horror i read in my formative years has stayed with me for decades and very few film makers have attempted anything that ,in my opinion,FEELS like that. These trailers are treading that ground. No spaceship battles, good guy vs bad guy stereotypes and video gameplay scenarios. I really don't have much of an idea what the movie is about and i am fine with that. I will avoid reading anything further about the film until my a** is in the theater seat and i am enjoying the mystery of it all.

I cant see the Dick estate caring since the movie and book are so completely different (in my opinion). I imagine Ridley fans can see a potential overlap in stories and technology.

Apr 30 12 11:50 PM More My Recent Posts	I get where you're coming from Delgado, but with things like this (As with the New Star Wars movies) I tend to overlook it just like I overlook certain obviously staged sfx from the cheaper sci-fi films of yesteryear. I will admit that it would be all kinds of awesome to see a director with the guts to make a movie like this using only the sfx technology from a previous film when visualizing its prequel, but I can also understand the reluctance of investors or studio heads on signing off on such an endeavor.
