'Fraid out - my local channel was a bit of a renegade and never aired "Nightwatch" (they'd do a repeat of the local 11:00 news and then go off the air). Channel 7 had a long history of that type of thing, even refusing to run CBS' Friday Night line-up at one point in the 1970s in order to show classic movies instead.

I do have a couple of short interviews on tape from "Nightwatch" when KISS appeared on it (it was one of the few shows KISS could get any network airtime in the early 1980s) but the quality is so terrible and the clips so short I doublt they would be of any use for what you're looking for, Grant. Sorry!

Actually, that's one of the few segments I DO have, on tape and I've seen it on YouTube and elsewhere. Thanks to KISS fans, it seems to have gotten a lot of circulation.
It's another frightful long shot, but does your recording of it happen to have even SECONDS of anything other than the KISS interview itself? It's just that, I'm looking for even the slightest bit of Nightwatch with a particular one of the hosts. And even though she didn't do the KISS bit, an interview done by one of the hosts would've been introduced by another and followed by another.

Thanks for posting that Shadow!! I actually new the name of that movie WHEN MICHAEL CALLS before they showed it. I'm not sure why all of this trivia is in my head.

I know I'm straying from the interests of horror fans, but anyone who never saw the marvelously creative ID bumpers run by Nick at Nite in the 90's simply hasn't lived. There are two compilation videos presently being shown on YouTube, so see them right away, before they are taken down. A lot of them are animated; see if you can guess who the animation directors are!

Robert: Those are good! Never caught it, though. We had it from The Mid-'90s 'til four years ago. Guess we missed out.
Come to think of it, "Sci-Fi" had good bumpers too ... remember that clock sequence? Then there was another clock
in which it morphed into a monster. That was cool.

Pete: Love those disclaimers! "This film contains elements of shock and suspence." Could be cheesy fun! Didn't know
of the disclaimer on "OHMSS" ... understandable. Remember when it aired during the '76 Olympic games at Innsbruck?
The Snow Bond! Since it was my first time seeing a non-Connery Bond, I put down Lazenby, calling him "The Dumb Bond".

I think of those though, CBS had the winner intro, total class. Kinda puts a more serious spin on whatever was planned.
Perfect for those Hammers.

Ahhh ... the death of the network TV movie. Times sure have changed.
