D.V DeVincentis co-write the screenplays for Lay the Favourite, High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank – which I saw at a preview with Rich on the first ever National Cinema Day in the UK, and how we laughed (the first ever of… two maybe?) I’m quite the fan of those script, so I reckon it good news that, per The Hollywood Reporter, DeVincentis been signed up to write the screenplay for The Night Stalker, an adaptation of the 70′s show about Carl Kolchak, a reporter with a taste for investigating the supernatural. Wright has been speaking recently, but cryptically, about his upcoming projects, with The World’s End apparently likely to go next, followed by Ant Man. So take your time, Mr. DeVincentis. If Wright’s films maintain the same sort of spacing we’ve seen so far you’ve probably got three or four more years to nail this thing down.
