I didnt see a thread dedicated solely to this film on here, so I thought I would start one up for viewers of this film. In the past decade since it's release, HANNIBAL certainly made for one of Anthony Hopkins' more interesting roles. While most people view it as no SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, I would say that it does have some great performances in it with Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore taking up as Clarice. I think she does an interesting take on the character as opposed to the Jodie Foster version. In fact, it's easier to understand why Hannibal is taken with Moore as opposed to Foster's version.
This film didnt get the reviews that SILENCE did upon it's initial release, however, I certainly feel it deserves some kudos.
