Was the camera leering at them or was I just reading too much into it?My wife loves these movies (I think the first one is pretty cool) and last time we watched the second one even she was wondering what the big deal was with the guys going shirtless. It gets weirder on the dvd special features because there's an effect involving one of the kids being decapitated and Salva seemed unusually preoccupied with making sure the character is beheaded while his shirt is off. There's also a scene where the monster looks into the bus and singles out one boy and licks his lips.Oh and when the monster French kisses the severed head...wasn't it a boy's head?btw- If I liked these movies enough I'd buy the DVD without any hesitation.

I think if you're looking for things like that, you'll find them. I saw it before I knew about Salva's transgressions. Would it have made a difference in my enjoyment of the film? Probably not. I don't have to approve of him, his lifestyle, or his actions, but I can enjoy a film he directed without connecting the two.

Of which, 514 are both adult and celibate as a matter of law. There are 43 lay citizens who are non-clergy. According to 2004 estimates, less than 1% of the population is between the ages of 0-14. At best, the age of majority laws apply to 4 people in the Vatican, and at most 43 citizens of the Vatican are even allowed to have sex, regardless of age. The age of majority of 12 is taken from Italian criminal law, from the Lateran treaties.
