So among other things I've finally caught up with the live action version of The Tick. I still think it was a bad idea doing it as a live-action show but having said this I must say they did a fairly good job of it. Patrick Warburton was born to play the role and I loved the regulars. I suspect American Maid was changed to Captain Liberty (Liz Vassey) 'cause people didn't get the joke or the original costume was too similar to Wonder Woman. The change from Der Fledermaus (Batman) to BatManuel (Nester Carbonell) was probably due to a great audition by the actor. Since it is both live action and a half hour show things are on a much smaller scale than the cartoon.
