Sep 29 11 11:46 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi folks! Just wanted to stop in and tell you all that principle photography is in full swing for BEAST WISHES, and we couldn't be happier. So far we have filmed segments with Rick Baker, Dennis Muren, Pat McClung, Chris Walas, Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis, Steve Wang and of course, Bob and Kathy Burns. That's FIVE Oscar winners! Trish is doing a great job as our director, and I am super proud of her. Our crew has been awesome, and I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and generosity our project - and subjects - are receiving. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us! We have some more shoot dates to do in the next two weeks or so, and then we start editing. Here are some shots of Trish and I with our very special guests. Tonight we filmed at Taylor White's "October Shadows" art show opening at the Mountain View Masoleum in Altadena, Ca. It was an exciting, inspiring, stressful, adventurous night, and we got great footage of folks talking about Bob and Kathy and fandom, many of whom are members of this forum. Among the notables we got on camera were Matt Rose, William Stout, Dan Roebuck, Sam Park, Richard Heft, Jim MacPhearson, Shannon Shea, Mike Hill, William Malone and Beth Hathaway. If you don't know who they are, look them up on imdb. Trish and I are so blessed that so many people are willing to share their of love for these two people. In three minutes we get a lot of humor, to meet some really cool people, and its all wrapped up with top-notch production values. The laid-back music and editing is spot on and combines perfectly with the slightly sardonic tone. If that's the vibe you're going to strike with the finished product it's shaping up as something special.
