May 10 11 10:03 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Just wondering if anyone listens to any horror podcasts? The only one I've check out (through Itunes, also available at http://www.horroretc.com/ ) is called HorrorEtc which seems to be by a couple of Canadian horror enthusiasts, judging by their accents. They are indeed enthusiastic, although I've noticed they got lots of facts wrong when discussing Universal's Frankenstein series. They have a current podcast on the Philip J. Riley "What If" Universal scenarios. I listened to their Omen one, and it got me charged enough to rewatch the original Omen trilogy. I know there are others out there, but haven't explored them yet. I just know that listening to podcasts is really good while exercising or doing housework! CR

May 13 11 4:47 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I haven't listened to that one. I will try it though for the Riley show at least (thanks). I listen while I'm walking or taking public transportation... I have however listened to quite a few episodes of "F This Movie" which I discovered through DVD Verdict (http://www.dvdverdict.com/podcast). They're also on iTunes. They do more than horror and sci-fi but it is covered. They did a report from last year's Music Box Massacre in Chicago. There's adult language and they always start by talking about new movies they've seen but they are very good about spoilers - even have a music cue to let you know, "From this point on...". Loved their shows about Plan 9, The Wolfman, Signs, SW: the Phantom Menace, Scream 4 and the two versions of Let Me In. There's also Junk Food Dnner (http://www.junkfooddinner.com/). They do three movies at a time...some times with some kind of a link between the films. Found then rather dismissive of some classic stuff seemingly because they're older than a decade or two....but still interesting. Just a couple I know of.

Just the horror podcast I've been looking for. Now if only someone would start up a decent Stephen King podcast I'd be happy as a clam.

B-Movie Cast at http://bmoviecast.com/ covers a lot of films people who frequent this board should be familiar with, as well as classic Outer Limits episodes. Lovecraft fans might enjoy http://hppodcraft.com/ which usually features disscusions of Lovecraft's work as well as presenting some readings of the tales themselves. Those with a skeptical interest in monsters should find http://www.skeptic.com/podcasts/monstertalk/ interesting. The Jack The Ripper Casebook has a pretty good podcast, but they often go for months without putting out a new one. Skeptoid at http://skeptoid.com/ is always entertaining and informative and often features topics involving the paranormal.

My aim is to feature interviews and discussion with a range of horror actors, directors and critics. I start off this week with interviews with Susan Lanier (Brenda in Wes Craven's Hills Have Eyes) talking about her career up to and including Hills and of working with Wes; and Linnea Quigley who needs no introduction.
