Regarding Rambo, Rambo actually started as horror in the 1972 novel First Blood. Appropriately enough for a horror novel, the title featured the word "Blood" in it. I remain hesitant to include Anita Blake or Necroscope by Brian Lumley or Elric or Nightwatch. Perhaps book sales might persuade me.

I'd like to hear your rationale behind labelling First Blood as a horror novel. His novel The Totem has more horror elements.
