So I move too, but I kept AOL cause I'm too lazy to change my address. That was some time ago, I don't member very good anymore. Why do I have to waste my time outwitting morons? Aug 26 11 1:38 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I stumbled on this site while looking up a Hammer actor. One look and I knew this was a forum that I had to bookmark and visit often. I fit right into this place. I'm a lady, but I'm also a born horror geek. I've been hooked on horror since I was about 4, no kidding. I was watching Creature Feature at that age with my Dad every Saturday much to my Mom's dismay. She yelled at him, told him I'd grow up twisted and morbid. Well, yeah, I guess I did, lol, but that's probably a good thing as it turns out as my morbid imagination has turned out to be an advantage and not a disadvantage in life. I write horror and have actually sold a couple of small things so far. I hope to sell a novel I wrote soon actually. I'm at the tail end of what seems to be a never ending re-write, but when I am done I hope that it will sell anyway. I have an editor that gave me a thumbs up, thinks it might given a few changes. I'm a very slow writer though. This is my third book, so far the only one I think has true potential, but it's taken me almost 10 years to write the darned thing. She seems to think it's better split up into 3 books. I'm not completely okay with that, but I guess if she can I can get it published that way, maybe it's cool. Anyway, looks like home to me, so "Hi!"

I went looking for a superhero costuming forum, and their prompt said you had to register at Yuku to view the pics of C2E2. Once I registeed, the superhero forum still wasn't accessible, but this site was on the 'other sites' listed on the welcome page. How fortunate for me, I had the good sense to click on it. Been here maybe 3 days, and have already been spreading the word to my friends. This site is wonderful!

Turns out, there was a post I made in "Greetings," dated 4/29/09. Here it is complete with typos. I'm new, too. Today. Forget how I happened on it, I think I was searching for a quoted phrase and a post here fit the bill. Every single stinkin' thing about this place is like coming home. All the avatars and posted pics, all the concerns and opinions are just what I like. Even if i dosagree. And there are several people who know the straight poop on stuff. Also, I spotted at least three people I know, a couple from outside the internet!

I hate when I unwrap a new DVD only to find it's the "economy version", and was trying to learn which Image Entertainment titles originally came with liner notes. Google eventually did the rest. I am amazed at the collection of personalities and knowledge assembled here! I was buying Starlog back in 1981 (just fished-out issue #42), but when online, typically only my tech side got released. Heck, there are even boards here for serials and noir...hardly any reason to go elsewhere! This site might just rank as one of the best kept online secrets. I've been using the Internet for over 20 years, but somehow never found it until now. (But then I never used AOL...)
