In the early days of MTV I remember a video that had a singer being chased by some sort of mutant creature through some foggy city streets at night. It was shot on video and the singer was a blonde woman who I thought was Stevie Nicks, but I cannot find anything that matches it. This would have been between 1982-1985, and the actual song from what I remember was more rock and not new wave. My mental picture of the monster or mutant reminds me of CHUD for some reason. Any ideas?

Feb 12 11 6:15 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Something about that She Creatures video reminds me of this one.This was one of my favorite bands for awhile and they seemed to be starting to give The Cramps some competition...Then after returning home one night from the studio where they had just finished recording their first full-legnth album, my friend Buck was shot to death walking his dog in The Panhandle of Golden Gate park. "It's better to have accomplishments remarkable enough to be put in question, than to have no accomplishments at all."

Any ideas? This video is most definately Draw of the Cards by Kim Carnes, famous for Betty Davis Eyes, and a favorite here at Acula Manor. When I'm on faster, I'll put on a link if there isn't on already. It's a freaky video, and the mutant creature with the elongated tongue is at the end. It's been a while since I've seen it, but it involved people standing around un and underground city kind of thing until the freakazoid critter breaks loose. I totally dig the She-Creatures, and will check out the Buck nakes vid too.

It's interesting because this song is a lot faster than what they usually do, which is long, slow stoner/doom/metal. It's one of my favorites. I see also that someone made a video for their song "We Live" using clips from Psychomania, on which the song was based. A perfect Monster has no end...
