This is sad..wasn't it bad enough when they offed the Creature in "The Creature Walks Among Us"? What a horrible way to end the career of the most original movie monster of the 1950's. Actually, I always thought the last was the strongest of the two sequels, and far more adult than the first two films. To each his own!

Walks Among Us was the second best of the trilogy. The first will always be my favorite, but perhaps I'm just nolstagiac.

Sorry but I can't wait! This sounds like a blast. I wonder if they finally getting rid of WATERWORLD and doing it there. Also, let me point out that
Frank Wildhorn's JEKYLL AND HYDE musical is terrific.

Lon Jr. as The Creature in TCWAU? Good question! As far as he goes, I do know that the last film I saw Chaney Jr in, was the Al Adamson AIP shocker
"Dracula vs. Frankenstein" from either 1971 or '72. Not sure if he did anything after that, but the film was also a showcase
for some other stars from the past, including Angelo Rossito of "Freaks", J.Carroll Naish.

According to imdb, Don Megowan was the land living creature. His role was uncredited.

I checked out a couple other site's reviews, and they all pretty much echo how awful it is. I came across an obvious PR piece that said (in part): "As
the show progresses, you will notice that it is loaded with sexually tainted jokes, some more subtle than the other. This will keep it entertaining for adults
and youngsters who can easily see through the plastic magnified monster. . ."
Nice to know that "sexually tainted jokes" are being targeted at kids.

usually, I'm of the opinion that anything that leads folks to the original is a good thing....
...but maybe not this time. That was just bad. I feel so sorry for Julie-- that couldn't have been an easy experience for her. |

I got through the Creature singing and ripping the guy's arm off. I'd like to take that arm and beat myself to death now.
