Well shy of getting a copy of his paychecks for the film or a direct response from
Mr. Glover I think the close-up in the photo montage sure seems to prove he was in the film. The film is a really fun piece of nonsense and something most of
us here at the boards will watch more often than much better films. It's the Hostess Twinkie of Sci-fi flicks. Still early 1960s gals in bikinis, plywood
spaceship interiors (featuring some of the control panel elements gathered for the film Fail Safe), the
spacesuits from the TV series Men Into Space, a
"well … they get an 'A' for effort" makeup job, and a fun monster and what's not to like. This I have watched a few times.
Bergman's Persona (a good film I enjoyed a lot as a youngster in high school) not so much.
The martian cutie was a playboy centerfold. They should've been seeking a few good men like the Devil Girl from Mars. Perhaps this is how they got rid of the homely guys.
