This film was a hoot and obviously designed to go straight to the drive-in. I would have enjoyed this movie sitting in a car with some friends and a lot of beer

May 8 09 11:53 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I haven't seen Man Beast, but the descriptions I've read sound interesting. Snow Creature is a good film, and I like that the yeti's face is never clearly shown. I like it when something is left to the imagination.

My family moved to the Tri-State area in the late 50's, and I'm trying to figure out how old I was first viewing this on some New York station. MAN BEAST might be silly. MAN BEAST might be so-so fun. MANBEAST just might be Jerry Warren's hack-eyed masterpiece (And what does that mean?) But MAN BEAST was some pretty tough serious stuff to this youngster. "You can't smell any reefer, can you"?

I burst into uncontrolled laughter at 2AM a couple of mornings ago when this was on our local cable late movie. That scene was effing hilarious. I know I first saw MAN BEAST on WPIX channel 11's Chiller Theater program, circa 1961. I'm pretty sure, although by no means positive, this was the movie's "New York Premiere."

May 13 09 1:38 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Thank you FrozenGhost. So let's just say I was pretty young when I saw it. I'd never heard of Yeti's or Abominable Snowmen. This was something kinda newly terrifying to me. Afterwords when we moved to the suburbs, I'd get creeped out looking at a snowbank.... Anybody know if the DVD is really missing five minutes, and if so, what the 'lost' footage consists of?
