(04/14/09 6:56 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	I was worried when I first saw that the movie could be ordered at the new Warners Archive as it looked like it was still pan and scan. Luckily Omega ordered it and it's widescreen. I have a DVD copy made from my widescreen Laserdisk from years ago to view occasionally. As I said in my earlier post, I was at a studio preview of the film and don't remember anything shown then that isn't now on the DVD. I wish those scenes could be found and if they don't really fit in the final movie, at least have them as extras. And I will admit, that I have watched the movie again this past month and have liked it a lot more than any previous viewing, flaws and all. Am I getting older, yes, but still some moments are pure Doc. BTW, rvoyttbots, watch carefully. After Doc is shot by the tommy gun and then jumps overboard, you see him and the other five swimming away after taking off their yellow (maybe bronze) bullet proof vests. But in the novels, they were lightweight enough that they could swim in them but they didn't have a way of letting the audience know that for the movie.
