Little Shoppe of Horrors #22 Modern Dracula issue |

First, I just wanted to say big thanks to Dick on getting this issue out so fast. When he said the 23rd, he meant it! It's another fantastic, in depth
adventure into Hammerland. So to all who enjoy Hammer, or just dig well done fantasy film coverage, order up buckeroo, you won't be disappointed.

I just started reading it tonite, so far just the letters and mag/book reviews. Dick mentions how issues of LSoH are coming out every 6 months now and says to
"Watch out for those flying pigs." Dick, that was priceless!

I've only had the chance to flip through and browse, but it looks great--as always. Congratulations, Dick, and thanks!

Anybody know where in NYC one can purchase a copy? Have to order direct? Thanks.

I know there must be other outlets in New York for the new LSoH #22, but you can always get it at Alphaville, the New York store of long-time LSoH cover
artist, Steve Karchin.
226 W. Houston 212 675 6850 His order went off Monday so he should be seeing them tomorrow. |

Received it today, but I've been looking at the back issues I ordered.
Got them all in jig time. |

WOW! I just received my copy in the mail. Thanks Klem! There I was on a smoke break in beautiful Santa Cruz, thumbing through the copy I'd just picked up
from my box and there - much to my surprise and joy - was a review of MC2! High praise indeed, coming from such a source. The staff at Mondo Cult thank Mr. K
most sincerely for his kind words and will see what they can do about supplying him with a fork lift for future issues.

Dickie the K!
Another great issue. I particularly enjoyed the piece on Hammer Noir, as well as the standard editorial and reviews. I haven't hit the other major pieces yet, but once again the design, the art and the printed word equal an excellent read. You should feel very proud. Gary |

Thanks, Gary - and everyone. I was wondering if anyone would even notice I have a new issue out. Topics like the one on FAMOUS MONSTER tend to obscure and bury
any other subject. Sort of how the old fan wars could drain a website dry of other comments.

I was wondering if anyone would even notice I have a new issue out.Between the cover and the contents, I think this issue is bound to attract attention! (But I could say that about almost any issue of LSOH!) |

Great issue, as usual. But, boy, what you really needed was a 4 page color insert...

|
Color insert? Ya mean so you'll have some boxes of issues to use as nightstands, coffee tables, book shelves...

Just called my comic shop, and my LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS subscription copy is waiting for me. Also asked them to toss the latest VIDEO WATCHDOG in the bag
as well! (I used to have VW on my comic shop subscription list, but it was an uncertain situation. Sometimes Borders and/or Barnes and Noble get the latest
VW before the comic shop does - sometimes as much as TWO WEEKS before - and I want to be free to buy it the first place I see it.)

Well, latest LSOH is proof that that you cannot stop publishing. If you can make me go back and watch the updated Hammer Dracula films ,then you have to go and
cover all the other hammer films in as great a detail =)
Have you tried MIDTOWN COMICS in NYC? |

Hey, Dick, did Tom Weaver order a copy?
|
|||
lsohgirl |
|||
|
Nope, Mr. Weaver hasn't ordered LSoH #22. He HAS purchased one or two issues in the past, and was given #20 because of his kind contribution of the
unpublished Max Rosenberg interview. But a modern day Hammer Dracula film? Can't quite see that being Mr. Weaver's cup of tea.
